❓ Frequently asked questions about storage, shelf life & application

Is there a best-before date?
No – Vital Plus has no best-before date. As a genuine natural product from the peat bog, the rule is: the older, the better. The product continues to mature and does not lose its effectiveness – neither before nor after opening.

At what temperature should Vital Plus be stored?
Ideally at room temperature or in the stable – the product should not be stored above +30°C and not below -2°C. Avoid frost and extreme heat.

How can I administer Vital Plus?
Vital Plus is already liquid and can be given in various ways – whatever suits your pet best:

• 💧 Directly into the mouth – administer undiluted in small quantities
• 🥣 On dry food – simply add it, the product dries within a short time
• 🥩 Mixed with wet food – mix in, done
• 🍖 On fresh meat – pour directly over it

The product has become too thick – what should I do?
Simply add a splash of still water and shake well – the product will be perfectly dispensable again immediately.

My animal doesn't like Vital Plus liquid – is there an alternative?
Yes! Vital Plus can be left to dry completely. Simply finely crush or crumble the dried mass and mix it with muesli, concentrates, or other dry feed – ideal for horses and farm animals that reject the product in liquid form. Its effectiveness remains fully intact.

Does Vital Plus need to be refrigerated after opening?
No! Do not store Vital Plus in the refrigerator. Storing it in a cool, dark place at room temperature is sufficient.

Can Vital Plus be exposed to the sun?
No – do not expose it to direct sunlight for long periods. Protect from sunlight and close tightly after use.

The product smells a bit or the bottle builds up pressure – is that dangerous?
No, absolutely harmless! Vital Plus comes from the peat bog and contains living bacteria that remain active even after bottling. Natural decomposition can produce gases – this is a sign of the product's vitality and quality. Simply open the bottle briefly, allow gases to escape, and continue feeding as usual.
