🐄 Beef Horn
The classic – inexpensive, robust, and long-lasting. Rich in keratin, calcium, and phosphorus. Ideal for strong chewers.
🦬 Buffalo Horn
Especially robust and dark. Ideal for very strong chewers who need a long-lasting horn.
🐑 Sheep Horn / Lamb Horn
Slightly softer and smaller – ideal for smaller dogs, puppies, or sensitive chewers. Also rich in keratin and minerals.
🐐 Goat Horn
Slender, slightly curved, and natural – a great alternative for dogs who like a bit of variety.

🍖 How to stuff the horns – Recipe with Kallisbest
💡 The easiest way – straight from the can into the horn!
Simply take a can of Kallisbest Deer & Potato with Vegetables – meat, potato, and vegetables are already perfectly combined. Simply fill directly into the horn, put it in the oven – done! Saves time and serves the purpose perfectly. Of course, this also works with other types as desired!
Ingredients (example) – choose a Kallisbest can as a base:
- 🐄 Kallisbest Beef pure – classic, protein-rich, without additives – mix in a side dish (potato/rice/vegetables) separately
- 🦌 Kallisbest Deer & Potato with Vegetables – ⭐ Tip: straight from the can into the horn – everything is already included!
- 🐔 Kallisbest Chicken & Vegetables – easily digestible, with natural vegetables – add potato or rice as desired
- ... and many more types as desired!
📌 Important ratio: Approx. 50% meat : 50% side dish – the mixture must be firm and spreadable, not liquid. If the can already contains vegetables or potato, you can reduce or omit the side dish accordingly.
⚠️ Always use cooked potatoes! Raw potatoes contain solanine and are unsuitable for dogs.
Preparation:
- Mix filling well (or use directly from the can)
- Stand horns upright – opening upwards – and fill firmly
- Tie several horns together with heat-resistant stainless steel wire and place upright on a baking sheet or in an oven-safe pot
- Bake at 100–120 °C for approx. 30 minutes – filling will firm up, liquid gently evaporates
- Allow to cool completely before feeding!
⚠️ Only use heat-resistant materials – stainless steel, ceramic, or glass. No plastic containers, no coated wires!
