Fresh meat consists of approximately 70-75% water. When dry food is produced, this water is removed through the drying process. This means: 1 kg of fresh meat becomes only about 250-300g of dry meat mass after drying.
So, a food with "70% fresh meat" only has about 17-18% real meat content after processing – less than many cheap supermarket foods!
